Mr. Stevens exhibited some beautiful Lepidoptera and Coleoptera, taken by Mr. Wallace in Ke and Aru Islands, near New Guinea, of which the most remarkable were the sexes of a variety of Ornithoptra Priamus, and the pupa-case from which a female specimen had been bred, Papilio Euchenor, P. Ormenus, P. ambrax, Hestia D'Urvillii, some fine species of Drusilla and beautiful Erycinidae, mostly hitherto unknown, Cocytia D'Urvillii, and some singular Geometrae, &c. The Coleoptera included three handsome species of Eupholus, a gigantic new Mecocerus, several brilliant Buprestidae, some fine and new Lomopterae, numerous species of the Papuan genus Tinesisternus, and a noble Batocera, very distinct from all the known species of the genus.
