Cutting from an unnamed and undated (Sioux City?) newspaper c, May 1897, headlined "Mrs. Dollinger's Caller. | Another shrewd scheme of the mean, deceitful book agent. | From the Dakota Bell" with a story on door-to-door salesmen of religious books. Cutting from an unnamed and undated (Sioux City Journal?) newspaper c. May 1887 headlined "Amusement Record. | Dr. Wallace's concluding lecture at the Academy last night" reporting on A. R. Wallace's lecture on oceanic islands. Cutting from an unnamed and undated (Sioux City?) newspaper c. May 1887 headlined "Items from Exchanges" reporting two stories from other newspapers, one on the closure of Sioux City drinking saloons and one on changes in the course of the Missouri river caused by ice.
