Gray.Catalogue of Pacific Birds" on the spine in ink and on the front "Examinations in Physiography. Questions and Curious Answers", both in A. R. Wallace's? hand. The dates "1870-1879" are written in pencil below the title on the front cover. Parts of an examination paper 1878, (physical geography), examiners Professor John W Judd FRS and J.Norman Lockyer Esq.
