Some of these were reproduced in volume 2 of "My Life" by A. R. Wallace, in his description of his travels in America in 1886 and 1887. Notes: Reference codes have been added on the backs in pencil in square brackets. The photographs were enclosed in a brown cardboard folder with the label "Westcots" crossed through in blue pencil next to "Doveshill" faintly visible in blue pencil: destroyed 28 Jan 2004.
