Undated black and white photographic print approximately 9.5 cm x 7.5 cm showing part of a lake between slightly rolling wooded or grassy hills in the foreground and a long almost flat-topped slope in the background. Faint pencil outline on the back with "upper lake" written in A. R. Wallace's? hand on the lake area and "dam" written in the foreground. The scene is near Lough Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland (see WP17/8/8). Undated. Possibly c. 1893, when A. R. Wallace was writing on glaciation (See WP1/2/39, letter to Violet Wallace 8 October 1893).
